Kat is NYC-based Artist, Director & Production Designer specializing in the material logic of the human psyche. Her practice is defined by a rigorous methodology of deep investigation followed by play & physical experimentation. She treats every environment as a tactile case study, using chromatic logic and multi-sensory weight to translate the internal "cracks" of a character into a physical, cinematic reality. Plain speak : every campaign and film she builds is oozing with humanity and multi-sensory goodness.

With a career leading the visual identity of over 40 narrative projects—including collaborations with HBO, Apple TV, and Destry Allyn Spielberg—Kat builds worlds for the weirdos, the black sheep and the characters that move through the world sideways. Her films are color-drenched and slightly off-kilter, pulling out the juiciest moments of the inner psyche, bruises and all.

Her production company, Rainbow Pirates!, serves as a dedicated creative lab for narratives that prioritize the raw, unpolished truth of the human experience. And, in 2025, she launched GURL GRANT, a biannual film grant for female and non-binary directors just because she wanted to. She’s a city rat through and through, an eternal optimist, and a collector of all things weird and wonderful.
